about me
It all started with a chest full of family pictures. As a child, I grew to love flipping through family albums. By age eight, I had looked through my parents wedding album at least one-hundred times. While I loved the wedding photos, I loved the candid photos even more. The ones that froze time in the most simple, yet powerful ways. I loved seeing photos of my siblings and I goofing off at my childhood home in New York, and even more, I loved the conversations those photos sparked with my family. Sharing old memories and good laughs, all of that coming about because of a seemingly random moment that was captured on a home camera. It was then that I realized the power of a photo.
Since then, I developed a passion for capturing moments, big and small, in my own life. I started walking around with a disposable camera in elementary school and by high school I had gotten my first (somewhat decent) camera. With age (and increasingly better cameras) I continued to feed my passion. Now that I have a collection of over 10k photos, I want to help others create a collection of their own.
With each project, I feel blessed knowing that someone chose me to share in their magical moments. I take pride in the fact that my pictures take on new life in family albums of their own. Maybe there's a girl like me somewhere down the road who will come across a photo I took in her family collection and decide to pick up a camera too.
